George Washington Parade - Alexandria, Vigirniga

Knoebels Amusement Park at night : Knoebels offically became a park in 1926 - construction begain November 1, 1925 on a giant spring fed pool and opened July 4, 1926. The first ride was a steam powered carousel. Prior to the concrete pool, horse drawn hayrides arrived at Knoebels and people jumped from the wagon into the swimming hole. Food was provided along with picnic tables. Since that time, Knoebels has steadily grown into what it is today.
